Marin Retirement Communities Scholarship Fund of the Marin Community Foundation

Through the Marin Retirement Communities Scholarship Fund of the Marin Community Foundation, employees or the children or grandchildren of six Marin County retirement facilities are eligible to apply for scholarships to help achieve their post-secondary educational goals. These six facilities are The Aldersly, Drake Terrace, The Redwoods, Smith Ranch Home, The Tamalpais, and Villa Marin.

Contributions in any amount are welcome, including memorial or honorary contributions.

The Marin Retirement Communities Scholarship Committee works with the scholarship nonprofit, 10,000 Degrees, in establishing the criteria and granting the awards. Application forms are available in early March each year at 10,000 Degrees online. The application deadline is April 30. Annual awards are announced in early August.
